The See-Through Heart

What would it mean to have a see-through heart?

Creating this book was a journey into that question,
a noticing, a playful way of saying to the natural world around me
“I see you, you and I are part of the same living energy...
and I love you.”

I chose this colorful short story form, because I wanted it to be
accessible for children. I hoped to empower them to hold on
to the beautiful things they already intuit, to carry that sense
of wonder into the rest of their lives...
and to renew it in the busy adults around them.

The See Through Heart can be purchased on Blurb.com in a good-sized magazine format that includes nine short stories, some fun ‘Think Abouts,’ and extra pages for your own thoughts.
The color is lovely, the quality is impressive, the size gives it room to breathe, and...
I was able to keep a 48 page picture book affordable.

Go ahead, explore it... you can just click through and have a look.

The book for me is a wonderful lesson in listening, reflecting and settling-down to stop and be a part of nature and the gifts it has to offer. It is a delight.
